Three Hills invests in Sinewave, a leading UK grid connection provider for EV and renewable infrastructure from its dedicated Impact platform

- The investment will support Sinewave’s continued growth ambitions, including further expansion into high-growth markets, and strategic development initiatives.
- The transaction marks the third investment from Three Hills’ sustainability-focused strategy, Three Hills Impact, and is structured as a mix of preferred equity and senior secured debt.
London, 27th August 2025 – Three Hills, a private markets investment firm specialised in providing bespoke capital solutions to entrepreneurs and management teams in Europe and North America, announces the completion of its investment in Sinewave, a leading UK-based provider of grid connection and maintenance services for EV charging, solar and battery storage, data centres and other energy infrastructure applications.
Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Swindon, England, Sinewave designs, installs, and maintains high- and low-voltage electricity networks up to 400 kilovolt (kV), delivering turnkey solutions across the entire lifecycle of infrastructure projects. The company has built a strong reputation for technical excellence and robust delivery, with a top-tier position in the UK EV ICP market and a rapidly growing presence in renewables and data centres.
Three Hills has acquired a significant minority stake in Sinewave, combining preferred equity and senior secured debt, in line with its strategy of providing flexible capital solutions to support the growth ambitions of middle market businesses.
This investment reflects Three Hills Impact’s commitment to supporting resilient, mission-critical businesses with strong growth trajectories and impactful business models. Sinewave has delivered exceptional performance over recent years, marked by outstanding revenue and profitability growth, with continued growth supported by a substantial contracted backlog. In parallel, Sinewave’s operations directly support Goal 7 of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (Affordable and Clean Energy). Moreover, its B Corp certification and carbon savings reporting demonstrate a deep commitment to sustainability, aligning closely with Three Hills’ impact strategy.
