Dedalus wins the 2015 Healthcare Digital Innovation Award at the Polytechnic of Milan

The Dedalus Group, one of the first Italian companies in the production of healthcare software production and organization, was the main focus at the Digital Innovation Award in Healthcare of the Polytechnic of Milan, which took place on the 12th of May. The computer module for the management of the University Hospital of Verona, in collaboration with the Dcare Dedalus Group through the solution Dcare Warehouse System, has won the first prize awarded by the Digital Innovation Observatory of Healthcare, which aims to promote the best projects of the Italian healthcare, able to use digital technologies as a lever for innovation and improvement.
The participation in this result represents an important and further recognition for Dedalus, a company with over 1,000 employees including 250 in foreign locations and a turnover over 80 million, which has always focused on innovation and quality of its human resources to make products more capable of making the most efficient health and with less waste.
In this case it is a mobile computing platform that allows to track goods at different stages. This system allows the streamlining of activities for operators, an optimised management of the warehouse, with the decrease of stocks and expired drugs and devices, the ability to track the movements of the trucks and 32 operating rooms, monitoring precisely the flow of stock and allowing the investigation of actual consumption in the operating theatre material.
