Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Milan, SEC Newgate (“SEC”) provides on a global scale data-driven, integrated services across communications, advocacy and research to corporates and institutions. The company is ranked top 20 in the industry globally, with international scale across 15 countries, in a broadly fragmented market. It operates at the nexus of business, politics, communities, markets and media to deliver positive outcomes in a more than ever connected world.
The business is supported by robust relationships with leading blue-chip clients, leading to recurring revenues and defensible profitability. Three Hills’ funding was used to delist the business from London AIM, with the aim of simplifying the shareholder structure, focus on the core business and pursue strategic M&A opportunities.
In early 2024, SEC completed a transaction with the global alternative investment firm Investcorp, receiving a significant capital injection to accelerate the business’ growth plans. The deal values the company in excess of $250 million, being a testament of the fruitful partnership between Three Hills and SEC’s management team, showcasing the remarkable results achieved together.
