Three Hills is delighted to announce the appointment of new partner Abhik Das

Three Hills Capital Partners (“THCP”) is delighted to formally announce the appointment of Abhik Das as a Partner of THCP’s holding company, Atypical Partner (“AP”). Abhik will focus on originating and executing new investment opportunities for THCP and other alternative investment strategies under the AP umbrella across its core geographic markets in Europe, as well as North America. Abhik’s appointment further strengthens AP’s leadership team at an important inflexion point for the firm, following the launch of THCP’s fourth fund. 

Abhik brings a wealth of experience to AP, having worked in private markets and corporate finance for over 15 years. Most recently, he was a Managing Director and the Head of Private Debt at Golding Capital Partners (“Golding”), a European asset manager specialising in private markets investments with c.€12 billion under management. Abhik oversaw the successful growth of Golding’s private credit business and was responsible for all new fund and co-investments, as well as the management of the global portfolio. Prior to this, Abhik was a Partner in the private debt group of BlueBay Asset Management in London (now Arcmont Asset Management), where he successfully invested close to €1 billion in middle market businesses across Europe. Before that, he worked in the Principal Finance team at Macquarie, where he focused on investments across the capital structure into European and North American businesses. Abhik started his career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers in London after graduating from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland with an M.A. in Law and Economics. He also holds a dual CEMS MIM Master’s in International Management degree from ESADE Barcelona and the University of St. Gallen.
